"Down came the sky...and all you did was blink"

in charleston.- a dream come true.- with a barnes and noble 2 miles from my residence.- Ive been goin to B & N to read some books i've wanted to read in the past.- These books have included Orwell's "1984", "Who Moved My Cheese", and "Tuesdays with Morrie." Next up... "Rule of Four".

ahh... the smell of wedding season is among us. i went up to clemson this past weekend to see a good girl friend (Amanda Price) of mine from highschool tie the knot. it was a medium size wedding that was pretty fun... a wonderful rehearsal dinner in which i got to hang out with a lot of old high school friends... great weather, good times.

ok, yesterday i went to a yoga class.. i joined this gym called V. it is the most amazing gym i have ever seen. its on the cooper river and totally glassed in all the way around. so amazing i am willing to pay $89 / month. yeah yeah, well, i gave it a lot of thought and being fit is that high on my hierarchy of priorities. V has a maximum capacity membership of 1000 which is nice because i never have to wait to use anything. basically the members consist of rich middle age- older folks and trophy wives. each cardio machine has a plasma screen on it which makes burning calories a lot less ummmm tidious. ive got a personal trainer who makes sure i achieves the goals i set for myself. as far as the nutritional part of V, there is an herbal center with a yoga room taught by a young engaged couple who taught yoga in NYC. They are awesome. this center also has steam showers and saunas that aid in your body realeasing toxins. im obscessed.

a few weaks ago, sara and i went to see the hot hot heat in charleston at the music farm in chas. we saw them in atlanta a few months earlier and wasnt extremely impressed as i was the first time i saw them a couple of years ago. but this 3rd time seeing them was a different story. we made it early to see world leader pretend open up for them. i had heard a couple of their songs and really liked them. they were amazing and i recently bought their cd which was great too. after they played i thought it was the hot hot heats turn but i soon found out that a band by the name of eisely would be coming on before hhh. i had read about this band a year ago when they were on tour with coldplay but had never heard their music. they were amazing. the band consisted of 3 sisters (the dupree sisters) fronting the band with a brother on drums and a best friend of the siblings on bass. the girls had amazing vocals and were all really beautiful with a great since of fashion. i think i fell in love with the vocalist on the keys, then i discovered she was 16. i was sort of disturbed with myself after that discovery. check out their website. ive learned they are obscessed with c. s. lewis and radiohead which is right on track with my interests. i loved seeing them perform and would love for them to tour around her soon.

you know in meet the fockers when robert dinero teaches the baby communication through hand motions b/c the baby is too young to talk.... well apparently people really do that and Jocelyn is doing that with my nephew brayden and it really works. hillarious!

goin to see hootie and better than ezra friday night at the family circle tennis complex on daniel island.

Mowgli has made a lot of friends and loves charleston as well. A fullgrown male boxer lives below us and introduced himself to her by mounting her in front of a large group of my neighbors. I've met a pug, a pitbull, a st. bernard, a poodle, labs ect.
